Negative Thinking

Negative thinking is something we’re all guilty of. It comes from lack of confidence and self-criticism. It’s the doubts that plague our minds. We need to be mindful of the thought process and stop this pattern before it snowballs out of control. When this happens negative thinking takes over and starts to manifest in our lives. This can lead to feelings of not being in control or loss of control. In this article I will share how to regain control of your mind and shift into a positive mindset.

The First thing I would like to bring to your attention is mindfulness. This is processing where those thoughts are coming from so you can shut it off at the source. Simply ask yourself “why” that thought just popped into your head. Why did it make you feel this way? Also make sure to ask yourself why you behaved that way. The second thing is acceptance. You will need to accept where this is coming from. Most of the time when we’re processing the why we’re still in denial. Once it clicks you will be made aware of the triggers. You then have a chance to regain control. Because you can continue to feed the same outcome or you can choose to take the other path. This will give you control again over your mind.

Making Changes

Making the changes starts with catching the negative thinking and processing it. Firstly I would recommend meditation. Get to truly know and understand yourself. This is important because if you don’t who you are then you don’t know who’s running the show. Secondly this helps bring inner peace. When our inner world is at peace it manifest into our outer world. Thirdly this then allows you to see how powerful the I Am is. Change how you see yourself. What you think is being broadcast to the universe. Therefore you attract what you think. Change the dial and start broadcasting at a higher vibration.

Positive affirmations are great tool to change the self-doubts, the limiting beliefs, being over judgemental, and most importantly overcoming lack of confidence and fear. Remember I Am is huge! What follows this sets the stage for how your mind starts functioning. Start with I am worthy. I can do this. Tell yourself you are strong and brave. Remind yourself what you’ve overcome to get where you are now.

“Each and everyday you choose how happy you what to be by the thoughts you think, the actions you take, and the people you surround yourself with. Choose wisely.” This is one of my favourite quotes. The people you surround yourself with are contributing to your thinking process. Make sure you surround yourself with positive people. Surround yourself with the type of people you wish to become. Remember to Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. Change the negative thinking.

In conclusion I would like to remind you about worrying too much. Remember if you can’t change it with what’s in your Immediate control than its out of your hands. There is no reason to worry about what you can’t control. Let it go and focus that energy on what you can change right now. In addition don’t forget that it’s all about the present moment. Don’t let past experiences influence your thoughts. Also living in the future is know as anxiety. The bliss point is the now.
