Time Management

Time management is something most of us never really think about. Well, maybe those who have jobs/careers with deadlines. Outside of work and family how are you spending your time? Time is the only commodity you can’t get back once it’s gone! Time is like a currency and how you spend it should be an investment. Are you doing the things that truly make you happy? If so then you’re spending your time wisely.

So many people spend their time doing things they don’t want to or have to. They have come to conform to what society has placed into their programming. I don’t know if anyone has told you but you don’t have to. Your purpose on this earth is to experience joy, happiness, and pleasure. Therefore your time should reflect this. Don’t get me wrong I understand that rent and bills need to be paid and therefore we have to give up our time for money.

What I’m getting at is what are you doing with your free time? I used to waste time on people that didn’t deserve it. And now I spend it with those who I care about and those who care about me. I started investing my time wisely. For example I started learning new things. This led me to start to reading more. Wisdom and knowledge are two things no one can ever take from you.

Self Care and Self Love

You can’t go wrong with spending time taking care of yourself and pampering yourself. Time management for me includes taking time for me. How are you taking care of yourself? Do you meditate? Are you going to the gym and working out or getting enough exercise? Keeping up with your body maintenance is alway a great way to spend your time. Remember you’re a light being living a human experience. This means you’re existing in three different dimensions at the same time. Mind, body, and spirit.

When you’re stuck living in the past you continue to make the past your future. Doctors call this depression. When you’re worried about things that haven’t happened yet, you’re living in the future and that’s known as anxiety. The bliss point, the sweet spot is living in the right now. Also known as the present moment. If you feel like life is passing you by remember to bring yourself back to the present moment and enjoy it. It only comes once and then it’s gone.

If you haven’t caught on this blog post isn’t going to teach you how to manage your time or how to prioritise your daily tasks. Its sole purpose is to get you to think about how you’re spending your time. Are you doing the things that make you happy? Are you living your life to achieve goals and desires? What are you doing to enjoy the time you have? Is it being spent with those you love?

Once It’s Gone It’s Gone

Life is too short to be wasted doing the things that don’t make us happy. If you’re currently not happy, are you spending your time doing the things you like? For example, are you always doing things you don’t want to do with people you don’t want to be doing them with? Then it’s time to change that. Start taking the time to do more of the things that make you happy. Enjoy as much of this life as you possibly can. Time management is also about making time for things that bring us joy and happiness.
